How to create your custom firefox profile for running selenium webdriver tests

Hi Guys,

Again I am not going to crown someone else's work to my name. So I am just sharing a link to video demonstrating the same.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gWg1jp_yyg

I would like to share you why I need to create firefox profile for selenium. It is because I was stuck at a problem where I can only access site if I have certificate installed on firefox provided by the site owner. It was for security purpose.

With default firefox profile I can not able to achieve this. So I created a separate new profile for selenium and installed client side certificate in selenium firefox profile.
Then it becomes possible to access site. I just loaded selenium firefox profile instead of default.

Hope you guys find this out of this problem by reading this post.

Happy Testing,

Panchdev  :)
