Handling Windows dialogues i.e. File Open, File Save as ...?

Dear all selenese,
There is always head-ache how to handle windows dialogues from automation script.

After googling, I found lots of suggestions to use AutoIt to handle dialogues. I tried it and got success too. But somewhere in back of my mind, lots of questioning was striking why to use an external component. Why can't we handle it from our automation script itself.
So I have been kept searching for a another solution. After putting a little more efforts, finally I found that using Robot class in java. We can achieve it. I referred Robot class documentation and implemented it in my script and achieved the goal of handling dialogues.

Visit this nice blog for actual code.

How exactly is it working? If you need any information, feel free to revert me back.
Cheers to All.

Starting with a fresh blog on automation testing, I want to share some basic information related to selenium as below:
Selenium automates browsers. That's it. What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should!) also be automated as well. Selenium has the support of some of the largest browser vendors who have taken (or are taking) steps to make Selenium a native part of their browser. It is also the core technology in countless other browser automation tools, APIs and frameworks.
My first advise to selenium beginners to join Selenium blog group on wordpress.com. Ref. http://seleniumhq.org/
